In both admission cycle i.e January and July, the distance learning university offers online admission to BDP Application Oriented Courses – Bachelor of Arts (BA), B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), B.Sc (Bachelor’s Degree in Science) programme. It comes under the SOSS – School of Social Sciences. All courses under Bachelor Degree Programmes has 2 things common between them i.e 1) Foundation Courses 2) Application Oriented Courses. The application oriented courses are developed to equip you in some areas of your choice, which requires applications of skills. You must select at least 8 credits worth of courses from this group. You are allowed to select a maximum of 16 credits from this group.
If you have opted for a total of 64 credits in elective courses, you should take only 8 credits under Application Oriented Courses. Alternatively, if you have taken only 56 credits in elective courses, you are allowed to take 16 credits in Application Oriented Courses.
