In both admission cycle i.e January and July, the distance learning university offers online admission to CNIN – Certificate in Newborn and Infant Nursing programme. It comes under the SOHS – School of Health Sciences. All Students need to submit their Certificate in Newborn and Infant Nursing solved assignments before last date and can appear in upcoming term-end examination.

The university offers 6 months CNIN discipline in distance education mode solely. About Certificate in Newborn and Infant Nursing Programme : It is a 6 month programme of 14 credits (4 credits in theory and 10 credits in practical) having 3 courses (1 theory and 2 practical courses). The aim is to enable Nursing personnel to provide effective nursing care to normal, at risk and sick newborn and infants.

  • Eligibility Criteria : To take admission in cnin, the minimum eligibility should have : Nursing Professionals (RNRM) with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) / B.Sc. (N) or above
  • Medium of Instruction : English
  • Programme Duration : The programme duration to complete cnin certificate is 6 month (Minimum) and 2 years (Maximum)
  • Fee Structure : The total fee of cnin discipline is Rs 5,500/- for full programme

IGNOU CNIN COURSES & SYLLABUS : The certificate discipline consists of 3 courses. Out of which, one is theory and two is practical one. Student has to acquire 14 credits for a certificate. Below are Course Code, Title of the Course and the related course credits :
